Essex Lit – Irish Literature
In this series, we explore and discuss whether Irish literature has become less preoccupied with gloom over the past century. Beginning with the agitation of John Rodney in Moore’s short story we follow in the mood of works from early 20th century Ireland right up to the relatively recent novel by Anne Enright.
